I've used this Velcro in a few different ways. The first time failed because I didn't allow enough time for the adhesive to cure. It doesn't say in the package, but you need to allow the adhesive to "cure" for 24 hours before you try to pull apart the two sides of the Velcro. I used it successfully to adhere an extra pillow to a backrest & to keep a pocket in cloth closed. The best use is keep a mattress pad from sliding down a mattress. I read the reviews of items made for that purpose and all of them had negative reviews. Using 2 packages of this Velcro has worked perfectly and saved me money. I highly recommend this IF you allow time for the adhesive to cure.I used it on some baby bibs that I made, instead of buttons. They seem to hold nicely.DO NOT hand sew onto fabric. The sticky adhesive gets all over the needle, thread and fingers. Very messy situation. Definitely only use on sewing machine (which I don’t have).my chair covers are always flying away, but since I have used this velcro, they have not moved, so happy with this purchaseBuying tops with velcro for persons w/ disabilities are expensive. This was an easy & quick fix for a friend who preferred button down blouses. I also stitched velcro on, removed buttons & resewed over button holes. Worked so well for her.Have a blouse that gaps open and there was no way to sew it. I used this to help keep it closed. Now I can freely move about without constantly grabbing or holding my shirt.Super inexpensive, the Velcro works great, but it's stronger than the adhesive. After two weeks the adhesive side came loose and stuck to the Velcro side.Super easy to use. Sticks better than expected.I bought these as my new pillow cases kept opening. They were easy to to use and have gone through the washing machine several times and have stayed put. Would definitely buy and use again.If the two pieces of material are under any kind of stress then these are not for you as they will not stay stuck to the material. I think they would be ok if no pressure applied. I did get an easy refund from Amazon though.This product is so easy to use, it works and saves time and money.Bought for a quilt.. doest quite stsy onDon’t really work for medium weight or heavy fabric. V fiddly too.
