The cooling vest is helpful. Whenever he wears it in the hot car and on hot day marathons. When the vest gets warmer, I pour over it or wet it with cool water.Fits well. Easy to use.The best fits perfectly for my little Chiweenie, however, it does not come with a d-ring or anything to hook a leash to. My husband had to add a d-ring so that we can use it to walk the dog on. I do not recommend this product at all if you need your dog on a leash.My dog always like to go outside hunting and playing. But this can be difficult to accomplish during the peak of the summer when temperatures soar. But now we can solve this problem with this cooling vest! Just make it soak, and wring out lightly, be aware when you place it into a plastic grocery bag and stick inside the freezer, the cooling effect become greater. No longer worry about heatstroke!But we always stay outdoor for a long time, so need to repeat to soak it. Even though, we recommend this cooling coat to surviving this summer!Helps keep my Cairn cool during outside Agility training...even in the over 90° summer heat.Updated: Petcool contacted me after reading my review. They apologized for the member of their team who asked me to cut and sew to fit my dog. Even though I had already returned via Amazon the medium, they still asked to send me a small for my troubles. The small fits perfectly. I just wish the original team member had simply let me exchange like I'd asked right from the start!Original: Beware, the size chart is off. Order a size down! Also, I tried to ask seller for exchange to small. Medium had never been used, and I just received it yesterday. Seller writes back asking me to cut and sew it to be smaller.I wrote seller back and asked again for exchange. I will change my 1 star if they indeed do the exchange without further issue.My moms min pin suffers from anxiety and not only did this keep her extemely cool it helped comfort her too ! Very easy to put on and take off the dog and looks like it would be comfortable for dogs, although it's a tiny bit too big for our puppy right now, but I imagine it will be the perfect size once he has grown a little bit.I was worried it would be too heavy once the jacket has been soaked in water, but it is still very lightweight once you've wringed the excess water out.I would definitely recommend for anyone who has a dog that struggles in the heat as the jacket feels nice and cool once it's wet, and if it dries out as you're out for a walk, you can always pour a bit more water on again to cool it down again.The inner of the vest is sticky which I know it’s stated in the description, but I didn’t thought it’d be that sticky that it made my dog’s hair all sticky too! The thing is I have no idea what’s that the gel thing and it could be toxic to dogs! They can easily lick the gel from their hair and the vest so it’s a big no! Not worth risking that! I’m surprised no one mentioned that at the review?!Looks amazing and fits very well bearing in mind it is not specifically for cats! We love it and it will help us when the summer is in full swing keeping my boys nice and cool! Will be ordering a 2nd thanks pecute!I bought the small for my oversized, very tall yorkshire terrier - she is actually slightly bigger than a jack russell. It fits very well.Very easy to use and has had an immediate visible effect on her, she settles better and doesn't pant when wearing it. I wish I'd known about these sooner. Georgi must like it as she follows me into the kitchen when I get it to make it wet!It stays in place great too.Really happy with this cooling vest. It fits nicely (I got size large for my lab collie) and it'll keep her cool in the summer. Seems well made and sturdy and it arrived quickly. My dog will be happy to have a way of staying cool ?
