I have small fiber neuropathy and whenever I sit or lay down, my feet have this cold burning sensation. It took me 3 years to get it diagnosed. I've been through a few other "slipper boots" and these are the best so far. I'm male with size 11.5E wide feet and the X-Large is just big enough. I think a size 12 would be the limit, and they aren't wide of course, but it doesn't really matter, it's not uncomfortable in the slightest. I've been wearing these boots non-stop for the last 9 months, I effectively can't function without them. They don't show any sign of wear and the bottoms are still perfectly intact. I even go out in the driveway occasionally. I am not a light man either and they have held up. HIGHLY recommend
