This is a very well made product. I was impressed for the price. It is on the softer side and I imagine comfortable for my dog. Easy to put on. I bought a print pattern and there are two small reflective strips on each side, nice added touch. I read the reviews and bought a large and it fit perfectly. My dog is a basenji and 19 lbs. Stocky in the chest but otherwise he is not heavy. Hope this helps!I have bought several different harnesses for my dog, one you put over head and then clip to big for it. Another put over head and able to wiggle out of it plus my dog just fought getting it over his head..This one is great… my dog can step in you Velcro then clip then and your leash. He is comfortable with it doesn’t fight to put it on and you can wash it. I was thinking of getting another one..I recommend this harness highlyUpdated 09/09/22 to 4 stars. My puppy is a bit bigger now and I bought 2 of these during my initial purchase, an XS and a S. While the XS allowed my pup to get his teeth inside the collar of the harness, the S fits better and works great. Easy to get on and off and holding up well. I'll be ordering a medium when he outgrows the small. 1 star for XS, 5 stars for S and larger.While this harness may be ok for a small adult dog, it is dangerous for a puppy. The neck portion is way to loose. Once fitted to my 10 wk Goldendoodle, he could easily get the collar side in his mouth, where his baby teeth got caught in the mesh and he couldn't get it unstuck. If I wasn't there, he probably would have panicked and hurt himself. I don't recommend for any puppy that tries to chew everything.Love the harness but it runs small! Easy to put on, unlike the others I've purchased. It fits my Yorkie so I will keep it and order another one in the next size up!Good quality and price. My dog is not pleased, but she doesn't like any type of devise to keep hersafe. lolGreat price. Read the sizing for your dog, though. My girl is 20 pounds and I had to get a large or an ex large, I forget which one right now, so make sure you look at sizing.I like this harness so much I am on here to buy another, or maybe 2. We have a maltese mix and he has chewed his way out of a couple of harnesses, but he seems quite comfortable with this one. The sizing is a little tricky though, so select size carefully. Our little guy weighs 26# and usually wears a med, but I got a large according to measurements and the large in this style fits him just fine.Best harness we've owned! Our dog has had over 10 harnesses in the last year. Her pulling has broken quite a few step in harnesses. She has good quality ones like Wild One. But still, this is the best! I highly recommend!i have a 10 lb. Shih Tzu/ terrier mix. I had another brand of the normal Harness most of us get our dogs. One day my dog had this horrible sounding cough she was making; she got sick from it; i was upset. Our vet told me she has a trachea problem and the Harness i had was pulling on her throat when i walked her and she’d pull. Dr suggested i look for one that would tug under her chest rather than her throat. I looked around for something better and found this one. And it’s perfect for her. At 10lb she’s small- but she’s wearing a medium and it’s comfy and no more pulling on her throat & she hasn’t made that horrible sound either. To the family of the dog who was in one of these but jumped out the window of their car- I’m being very caring to you here. I don’t know if this type of Harness is meant for safety in a car?? with my own dog, i feel it’s more for walking. I truly hope your dog will be ok. She’s a 10lb chihuahua and I got a size Medium and it fits her perfectly. Her walks will be much more comfy, this is exactly what I was looking for.
